After our day of rest started the walk to Pamplona , walked an alternate route along the river, a wonderful stroll into the city of Pamplona , impressed by the old structures and the cobbled streets. Wondered what the old pilgrims felt as they entered the city. I was impressed with the city parks, not impressed with the hustle bustle of the city, busses, cars, horns, sirens, diesel smells, got to the other side of the city and stayed in a very nice albergue in Cizor Menora host by a nice lady that spoke great English and gave foot massages. Glad to be out of the big city.

Absolutely beautiful.

After a few days and reading your posts, I am now getting tuned in to you experience vicariously. Why? Your Walking. What a real way to feel the experience of the world, engaged by your senses. See smell, touch, hear, details not detected by others claiming, “I have traveled to that place/city/country”. Not 600 mph in a jet, not 75 mph on a train, not in a tiny car (Not that those are bad, just limited in so many ways). Yup, sometimes, senses reveal ugly things, like your statements about diesel, hustle, and bus and noises. Juxtaposed to your trails, sights of nature (Great pictures, keep them coming!) awe, makes it much better as opposites generate distinct experience by the contrast alone. Your in the Zone. Thanks for sharing Mark.
